Everything on brain injury in plain language

Loads of information on Acquired Brain Injury

Acquired brain injury (ABI) is damage to the brains which arose after birth as a result of an illness or an accident. Typically, there is an irreversible breakdown in lifeline. ABI can result in cognitive, physical, emotional or behavioural impairments that lead to permanent changes in functional ability.

Everything that was previously taken for granted, cannot be taken for granted anymore. Often, but not always, a person has to rely on help in daily life.

WORKING TOGETHER ON THE ABI PUZZLE

Get the puzzle finished ...

We do not want to compete but we want to cooperate, so that eventually the person with brain injury and his/her partner, family and friends find more answers.

We would like to complete the puzzle, or at least make the puzzle a little more complete..
